As an athlete, no matter who you are and what level you are at, nutrition is vital to feeling your best. Whether you're getting into endurance sport more generally, training for your first 5K, half, or full marathon, attempting your first century ride or triathlon, or at the sub-elite, elite, or professional levels, we can always continue to tinker with how we fuel and hydrate to optimize our performance and ultimately our health. Let's work together to dive into the details of nutrition to ensure you have all the tools you need!
How Does it Work?
Charlotte Werner Nutrition PLLC is a virtual sports nutrition private practice for individual and group nutrition counseling/coaching via tele-health. I use a HIPAA compliant platform called Healthie, which is an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Through this platform, I use HIPAA Compliant Zoom for my appointments as well as a HIPAA compliant chat system to communicate with you on any questions or concerns you may have.
Group education sessions (large setting) on nutrition for endurance are held via Zoom. If you would like the talk for a large group in person, I am available in New York City. Please see the section below on Group Education (large setting) as well as Sports Nutrition Consulting for more information.
Before any individual counseling/coaching session, we will have an exploration call. This call will help me to understand what you are looking for, allow me to explain what I offer and my background, as well as help us to navigate which route may be best for you.
Following the exploration call, if you would like to proceed with working together, you will set up your first individual consult or I will advise you on the next group education session, depending on the individual case and preference. This will be held via HIPAA Compliant Zoom and you will receive a link via Healthie.
Exploration Call
15-minute exploration call to understand what I offer and see if we could be a good fit. This initial exploration call is $20.00.
In this call, we will discuss which of the below routes may be the best for you at this time!
Following this call, I am available via the Healthie app to chat if any questions or concerns arise. Please use the chat feature following this call in the Healthie app to message me.
Individual Coaching
60-minute initial session to dive into the details of your nutrition and lifestyle history. Following this call, you are provided with a personalized nutrition strategy to help you to feel your best while training and racing. This initial 60-minute session plus your follow up nutrition strategy document is $180.00.
30 minute follow up session, which provides ongoing support. In these sessions, we will continue to tinker with your nutrition to optimize health and performance. Follow up sessions are $90.00.
If you are in the individual counseling/coaching route, you will have access to the chat feature on Healthie to speak with me should any questions or concerns arise at any point between sessions so long as you are an active client. This is included as part of the services you receive.
Group Education
Larger group education courses on various areas of nutrition for endurance, including fueling, hydration, recovery, post-injury nutrition, and supplements occur ad-hoc throughout the year.
This is a 45 minute general education session on one of the above areas. There will also be 10-15 minutes of Q&A following this general education setting.
For specific races, there will also be specific group education sessions focused on fueling and hydrating, as well as nutrition strategy for those specific races. If there is a race you think would be a great fit for a group education session, drop me an email!
Sports Nutrition Consulting

Insurance:
If requested, for individual counseling in New York, I can provide you with a Superbill, which you can then submit to insurance for reimbursement. Of note, I would always recommend reaching out to your insurance company to see what they would cover first if this is something you are interested in. You are responsible for the full payment at the time of the session and the insurance coverage cannot be guaranteed.
